When humans use animals for research experiments their rights are violated. According to the article, Save the Animals: Stop Animal Testing by Lone Star College, it states that "Animals and humans are alike in many ways; they both feel, think, behave, and experience pain". Since both humans and animals are alike in many ways, animals should be treated with the same respect as humans. However, this isn't the case, their animal rights are still violated when they are used in experiments because they are not given a choice and animals don't have a voice to give their concerns or opinions. The article states, "Animals are subjected to tests that are often painful or causes permanent damage or death, and they are never given the option of not participating in the experiment". All the animals that being sacrificed for human advancement are not willingly to be part of these harmful experiments. Sadly, the animals decisions are made by humans because they cannot vocalize their own preferences and choices.
